Mike Bickle is the director of the International House of Prayer, an evangelical missions organisation based on non-stop intercessory prayer with worship. Mike and I hung out at the “Sheep Shed” (official name: New Covenant Fellowship) in Maryland Heights, Missouri in the late 1970s. We were all at the epicentre of the new wave of Contemporary Christian praise and worship that took off in the Saturday night youth meetings led by Ron Tucker and Kent Henry.   They were soon joined by Tom Brooks.  who was the founding producer of  the Hosanna Integrity music series that popularised the sound of contemporary Christian praise and worship globally.  However, let’s not forget that this new release of worship to Jesus had arisen from the converted hippy Jesus Movement folk music scene that began in northern California a decade earlier and which quickly spread to L.A.
